About Wild Chinese Buffet

Located at 651 N Cherokee Ln Ste H, Lodi, CA 95240, Wild Chinese Buffet operates as a chinese buffet serving Lodi in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under chinese restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–8:25 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Wild Chinese Buffet at (209) 426-5134; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 333 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese buffets in Lodi.

Best Bang for your buck. It was like $12 for all you can eat. Mostly chicken dishes, but you can get beef in the beef and broccoli.

The food is not fresh and was lukewarm. Pieces of the orange chicken were pink inside. My main reason for the one star review is because I decided to come eat here with my 3 year old. We did the 9.50 lunch “all you can eat” Buffett (We only got one plate) and we didn’t even get seconds because we got full fast. I went up to pay and they tried sneakily charging me an extra 3.99. I asked what this was for and the lady goes “did your daughter eat off of your plate” and I said yes but we only got one plate which is $9.50. She said no, if she eats off your plate it’s an extra 3.99 and NOWHERE does it say this, not even on the menu. She then takes off the charge and angrily gives me my receipt. I won’t be coming here again. Make sure you guys check your receipts because they will add charges to try & scam you.

The restaurant is clean and the service is fast. The price is cheap and the food are quite tasty. You can choose 2,3,4 items or all you can eat. It's only a simple all you can eat restaurant with choices of 10-15 main dishes and soup only, no fruit or snack.

The food was alright. I've definitely had better. The cheese puffs do not contain any meat. Not even artificial crab. It was worth the price though. $8.99 for lunch, plus tax. The restaurant, including the restroom, was clean. I do wonder why there is a pooper scooper in the restroom. 🤔

Is this the best Americanized Chinese food ever? No... But for $10 all you can eat?? Tastes amazing. I’ll be eating in monthly, helping out by proving to other customers that Asians also like this place LOL. Very spacious inside. The cash register and buffet table are by the back. It’s self serve if you’re eating in for the buffet, for togo you let them know what you want in your box. They’ve got all the basics and more. My favorite is their general tso’s chicken and I love the wontons. Pretty solid fried rice and noodles. The orange chicken is pretty funny, kinda tastes like oranges. They also have fried veggies that taste kinda weird, it’d be awesome if they improved the batter so I could eat those and feel healthier lol. Egg drop soup is hit or miss? None of the dishes are very spicy in my opinion in case you’re sensitive. They also have Mr. Pibb soda, kinda rare. The owners and workers are Chinese and very nice people. My one wish is for there to be a cheap self serve vanilla ice cream machine installed LOL 🤤 I hope this place stays alive forever.
